Sheena Ponnappan leads Human Resources at C3/CustomerContactChannels. She is responsible for driving the company’s growth by creating and managing effective people strategies. She oversees strategy & planning, staffing, talent engagement and management, succession planning, compensation and benefits, and leadership development. C3 has more than 8,000 employees working at customer contact centers in the United States, Latin America and the Philippines, with corporate offices in Plantation, Florida and Singapore. Ms. Ponnappan is a hands-on HR executive with more than 16 years of experience in diverse industries. Prior to joining C3 she spent eight years at Aegis, a global BPO. She started with them in 2008 as Senior Manager HR, managing 2 sites in India and was then sent on an international assignment to manage Organisational Development at Aegis Peoplesupport, Philippines. Post this, she joined the Global M&A and Strategic Initiatives team at Aegis, to manage the overall HR set up & integration at new locations. She was part of the core team instrumental in the set-up of their greenfield site at Manchester, UK. Following this, she was promoted to VP HR for the company’s customer management operations in the UK and South Africa. Prior to joining Aegis, Ms. Ponnappan held HR roles at Promantra, a revenue management company geared to the medical field, and CSC, a global IT business. She started her HR career working for GE. In all the roles she has held, she has been a part of the company"s Vision & Mission, contributing to its achievement by providing a complete range of proactive & strategic HR services that not only met statutory & management requirements, but also delivered the best practices in developing both people & organisational capability. Ms. Ponnappan earned an MBA in Personnel Management & Human Resources and a Master’s Degree in Industrial & Labor Laws from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
