Helen Franco leads the Legal Department at C3/CustomerContactChannels. In this role, Helen is responsible for protecting the company from legal risks and monitoring compliance with the federal, state and international regulations that govern the customer contact management services industry and ensuring that the company adheres to sound corporate governance practices. She oversees the review and approval of all documents affecting the company’s operations, including client and vendor contracts, real estate leases, corporate governance policies and employee-related agreements, monitors the company’s commercial insurance coverage and serves as the keeper of the company’s business and corporate records. Given the national and international nature of the company’s reach, Helen is also responsible for engaging local counsel in the geographies where the company currently has business interests: the United States, Latin America and the Philippines.
Helen is a seasoned corporate attorney with more than 20 years’ experience as both outside counsel and in-house counsel representing clients in a wide range of industries. Prior to joining the company, she served as in-house counsel to software and manufacturing companies and companies providing healthcare-related products and services. Her legal career began in 1996 as an associate with what was then one of the three major law firms in Florida representing publicly traded clients. She then was recruited by the premier local law firm representing tech start-ups in during the heyday of dot.com boom in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Helen holds a Bachelors in Business Administration degree with honors from Florida Atlantic University and earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University summa cum laude. Prior to earning her J.D., she lived and worked on three continents, including as the Bureau Administrator and part-time journalist for the Israel office of United Press International, the international news wire. She is fluent in Hebrew and has a basic knowledge of German and a smattering of French. Helen is married and the mother of three children, enjoys traveling with her husband and quiet time with her family.
