C3 expanding, adding 1,000 call-center jobs

C3/CustomerContactChannels is looking to hire 1,100 people to work at its call center at 5215 W. Wiley Post Way in Salt Lake City.
President and Chief Operating Officer Rick Ferry said C3 is ramping up to meet the needs of new and existing clients, many in the health-care industry as it gears up for fall insurance enrollments.

Besides Utah, C3 has call centers in Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and three foreign countries — the Philippines, Bulgaria and Guatemala.
The company is offering health insurance and 401(k) benefits, Ferry said, as well as other incentives such as this month's contest to win a car based on achieving performance milestones.
